Matt and Samantha

Just had another fun engagement session with Matt and Samantha. They are getting married in Mexico next month and wanted some fun pictures before they head down, so here are some of the images from their session. They are so nice and we had a great time shooting these!

I'll be publishing a few more soon - lots of engagements shoots right now as I'm gearing up for a very busy wedding season starting next weekend!

Happy Jordan

My daughter and I were recently discussing the pros and cons of Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches over lunch when she decided to ham it up for the camera. Usually she refuses to look at the lens (or is running away from me!) but on this day, she was happy to share her beautiful smile and personality. It probably didn't hurt that she was strapped into her booster seat.

At any rate, she is my little love bug and affectionately known in several circles as "Happy Jordan."

Lost

Okay, I have to admit I am so excited for this fall TV season to start. I am a complete LOST junkie and can't wait to see what happens this season. My husband and I rented the first season on DVD this summer (after watching most of last year on TV each week) and became 100% hooked. If you haven't checked out this show yet, I highly recommend renting the DVD's!

Engagement Session Blast

I recently had a very fun engagement session with Sherri and Scott, who are getting married this November. They were an absolute joy hang out with as people and made the shoot so much fun with their willingness to try anything . They even climbed into a tree for me!

I thought I would officially welcome myself to 2006 by starting a blog!

Pictage PartnerCon - Sept 2006

I just returned home from 2 days in Los Angeles and the Pictage Users Conference, where I had the chance to gather a lot of great knowledge from other professional wedding photographers and industry experts. It was a great conference, and I had a lot of fun with everyone and especially my roomies and friends, Melissa Jill and Kimberly Jarman - both excellent Phoenix photographers.

I came home inspired and jotted down at least four pages worth of things to do for the remainder of the year, but the number one piece advice from everyone -- and my first action item -- was to start a blog.

So welcome, and I'll try and post something new and interesting (or not so much) each day.
