Seren and Samuel

I had a really fun session with a wonderful family last week. Little Seren and Samuel were so adorable and fun to work with. Mom Lucie and dad Sean were both so easy going and nice, and really allowed Samuel to do his own thing, which made for some great natural shots of him playing and being two. When I first saw beautiful Seren, who is just three months old, I could not get over how much she resembles Suri Cruise -- famous daughter of Tom and Katie of course.

Both Seren and Sam have such beautiful blue eyes, so I really tried to capture them. Thank you Cristler family for such a fun day! Here are some of my favorite images... or the full slideshow.

I love this shot of Seren and her Dad

A Beautiful Bridal Portrait Shoot

I had an absolute blast this past weekend on a bridal portrait shoot. This is such an amazing way to get some truly fun, fresh and beautiful images of brides before or after the wedding. (I recommend after when you are less cautious about your dress!)

Many brides are a little distracted on their wedding day simply because the day is very surreal and the emotions can be overwhelming. I also get calls from previous brides who married a year or two ago and didn't love their wedding photos or didn't like their hair, so they'd like to have more pictures taken. This type of fun, editorial style Bridal Portrait Shoot is the perfect way to get some really amazing shots, like we did with Kim here, where you are more relaxed and we have more time just to focus on you.

It doesn't hurt that Kim is absolutely stunning and willing to do almost anything. She was such a blast to work with.

And while she looks like a model, she's not, she is a teacher!

We stopped at this area where these guys were walking their dogs and one of them just ran up to her to say hi! And then she took his little friend for a walk. It was a blast and made for some really fun shots.

Published in The Wedding Chronicle

I received a nice surprise in my mailbox today. I opened the latest edition of The Wedding Chronicle to see one of my weddings published! Shelley & Mike were married last October at Grayhawk Golf Club and they featured their wedding. The Wedding Chronicle is available at fine wedding boutiques and vendor shops, AJ's Fine Foods, department stores and more.

Maggie and Ted

Maggie and Ted were married March 3 at the beautiful Copperwynd Resort & Club in Fountain Hills. They were surrounded by their family and friends on an absolutely beautiful day, even though it was a bit windy. Maggie lost her veil on the decent down towards the aisle because of the wind gusts, but it didn't matter, she still looked stunning! Abbey Berry, the Catering Manager at Copperwynd was amazing to work with and she seemed very on the ball with all the wedding details.

Here are a few pictures from their day... and the full slideshow.

Maggie's parents own a jewelry store in Arkansas, so the rings (and all the jewelry) were beautiful

The beautiful couple

Ted's nephew was so cute! He kept staring at me before the ceremony started, so I kept shooting him to capture his beautiful eyes!

I love all these little fleeting moments during the ceremony!

Yeah! Husband and wife!

some little details...

I think he must have said something very funny and interesting!

Thanks Maggie and Ted and congratulations!!

Erika and Andy's Engagement Session

Erika and Andrew are getting married this summer in Rio Rico, Arizona and we had a great time at their engagment shoot several weeks ago. They are such a nice couple! Andy is in the Air Force and stationed over in Korea right now, so I think Erika was happy to have him home for a few weeks. She is going to make a beautiful bride come June!
