Shelley and Mike recently married at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale and enjoyed perfect Arizona fall weather. It was a beautiful day all around and I had a lot of fun photographing their special occassion. It was actually very special for me, because my husband and I got married at Grayhawk almost 2 years ago to the day!
Just wanted to share a handful of my favorite images from their wedding... or you can watch the full slideshow here.

Watch and Be Inspired
My girlfriend Marie just sent me this short video, and I found it very inspiring. My summarization wont be as effective as just watching it... but it does ask:
Are you living your life to the fullest?

Beautiful Kim
I recently had a very fun portrait shoot with gorgeous Kim. She instinctively knew exactly what to do in front the camera and the camera loves her, so this was a very fun shoot for me. She is also recently single, but something tells me she wont be for long :-) Her personality is even more beautiful as her looks. Check out her slideshow.

Janna and Jeff's Wedding
Janna and Jeff recently married up at the beautiful JW Marriott Desert Ridge resort in Phoenix. It was an absolutely gorgeous wedding that Janna planned herself and she did a remarkable job. She made a very elegant bride and Jeff and his friends were all so hilarious and fun to photograph. His two children are pretty amazing too.
Thank you Janna and Jeff for an absolutely beautiful wedding weekend! Your wedding day and rehearsal dinner were so much fun and it was wonderful to meet your family and friends who clearly care very much about you both. Congratulations!

Lindsay and Eric
I'm heading out in a few hours to photograph Janna and Jeff's rehearsal dinner as they prepare for their big day tomorrow at JW Marriott Desert Ridge. I'm looking so forward to their wedding tomorrow...
But in the meantime, one more engagement shoot of late. These are of Lindsay and Eric, who are both teachers and just the nicest couple. They are getting married next March at Sassi up in North Scottsdale (beautiful place), so we had a great shoot up there about two weeks ago.
On my way home, I happened to capture this amazing sunset. One of the many reasons I love living in Arizona. I never get tired of seeing these.

The Circle of Life
One of my favorite wedding couples from last year recently called to share they were expecting their first child. They asked me to shoot some pregnancy and newborn pictures for them and I was honored.
Rachel is beautiful, so her pregnancy pictures came out great, and she looked adorable. And then, about 3 weeks ago, she and Kevin welcomed their beautiful daughter Ava to the world, so I had the privledge of meeting and photographing this little beauty. She slept for nearly the entire shoot, which allowed us to get some really neat pictures of her, and them as a new family.
Incidentally, this is why I love my job so much! Families like Rachel and Kevin invite me into their lives to share their happiest moments -- getting married and then having children -- and it genuinely touches me to be a part of those experiences. I feel a sense of connection to my clients because I do get to witness and document these intimate moments with them and I cannot gush enough about how fulfilling this all is for me.
A few of my favorites from their wedding last year....
This last shot is my favorite from the entire wedding, because it was 100% non posed, despite how it may appear. I was trailing out behind them, when her dress got caught up on sidewalk and started to snag, so Kevin bent down to pick it up and unsnag it. She was watching him almost the whole time, except for when she briefly turned to adjust her veil and the wind slighly picked up just at that moment. Love it when all those little moments come together!
